O2 Joggler - special offer £50 for one week only
The Joggler is a clever little device that combines a mobile phone text messaging service with a calendar, music player and more. When it arrived a few months ago the O2 Joggler cost £150, but for one week only it's been reduced to just £50.
It works as a touch-screen electronic calendar for your whole family, and can show photos, play music and video files and games. It can even show you the latest weather, news and sports results and show local traffic information. If you insert an O2 mobile phone Sim card it will send out text message reminders for events on the calendar.
Until April 15, the Joggler is available for an impressive £50, which is £100 off the original selling price.

19in High-Def Television / Monitor - Save £90
It seems that these days televisions just get bigger and bigger - most start at 32 inches, with monstrous 40 inch, 50 inch and larger displays coming down in price. If you're looking for something a little smaller, perhaps for a second television or simply because you prefer something a little less room-dominating, this could be ideal.
LG's 19H2000 is a proper high-definition ready LCD television, but with a 19in screen it's small enough to fit into most rooms. It has a built-in Freeview TV tuner, an HDMI socket for high-definition picture sources such as Blu-ray players and also a PC input so it can be used as a computer monitor. Its normal price is £230, but we've found a store selling this TV for just £140 - click the jump for details.

Nintendo Wii for £136 (save 20%)
It's not strictly PC related, but this is a great deal: we've found a major store selling Nintendo Wii consoles at a 20% discount. That leaves the standard pack, which includes Wii Sports Resort, at a healthy £136 brand new.
If you prefer near-photorealistic violence (or Eternal Sonata, for that matter) to cutesy platform games and exercise tools, the store is also selling PlayStation 3 (PS3) consoles at the same 20% discount, bringing most down to under £200. Sadly, though, the Xbox 360 isn't included. Click the jump for details.

Archos 605 80GB Media Player - Save £175!
Many portable music players, including Apple's iPod Nano, Classic and Touch models, can also play video files, but doing so is often quite tricky: these players tend to be fussy about files, playing only the ones that have been formatted in one specific way, and many have small screens that are hardly ideal for watching a film. The best way to watch videos on the go, then, is a dedicated portable media player, or PMP - a pocket-sized device with enough hard disk space to hold several films or TV programmes and a screen big enough to enjoy them on.
Some of the best PMPs are made by Archos, and today we've found one at a crazily low price. The Archos 605 has a 4.3 inch touchscreen display and 80GB of storage. It'll play most common video and music files, and can also display photos - add an extra adapter and it can even record television programmes to play later.
The 80GB Archos 605 is currently selling for £275.95 here - but we've found a way to get one for just £100. Click the jump for details.
To buy the Archos 605 for just £100, click here. Please note that the reason for this massive discount is that these are factory refurbished items.
Nintendo Bargains: Zelda DS for £10, Wii Fit £57
A bit of an unusual deal for today, but we've found a rather good price on some excellent Nintendo games: Wii Fit for just £58, and the excellent Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on DS for just £10.
In case you haven't heard or seen it, Wii Fit is a video game for the Wii console that you control by standing on a "balance board" while performing various exercises. The idea is that you get fit while also having fun, and according to the rave reviews the whole game is excellent. The problem, of course, is that with a special board included in the box Wii Fit is far more expensive than your average video game. Today, however, we've found the best price in the UK: just £57.
If you have a Nintendo DS, DS Lite or DSi, however, then The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is one of the best games available, and we've found new copies for just £10. Click the jump for details of both deals.
To buy the Wii Fit for just £57 - that's a tenner cheaper than anywhere else - click here. To buy Zelda for the DS for just £10, click here.
16GB Apple iPod Touch - Save £25
When Apple launched the iPod Touch it advertised it as "the funnest iPod ever". While we can't possibly condone such an abuse of the English language, we do have to concede that it is, at the very least, great fun. The Touch is, essentially, an iPhone without the phone: you get the same touch screen controls, the same ability to add new programs via the App store, the same Safari web browser and a wireless connection so you can surf the web whenever you're in range of a hotspot.
So, what's the downside? Well, packing all this technology into the Touch made it significantly more expensive than the other iPod models, and the basic 8GB model doesn't give you that much room for music and movies. Today, though, we've solved both problems: we've found a store selling the 16GB iPod Touch for £189 - that's £25 less than the standard price at the Apple Store. Click the jump for the details.
So why's this iPod selling so cheap, and where can you buy it? First things first: this is a brand new iPod, being sold off by the high-street chain Argos (who presumably had too much stock, as it's listed on the company's clearance service). To buy one, click here.
BRAND NEW Blu-ray player for £85
DVDs are all well and good, but if you have a HD-ready television you really need a Blu-ray player. Blu-ray discs are large enough to hold even the longest movies in the highest quality HD video (1080p). Once you've seen a movie or TV programme in HD there really is no going back to the older, blurrier versions found elsewhere.
The problem, of course, is cost - we recently found a fantastic Blu-ray player for £180, at a saving of £120, but even with a huge discount that's still a lot of money. What if you can't afford to fork out a fortune, but still want high-def quality? Well, today we've found the player for you.
The Bush BD01 has to be one of the best-value Blu-ray players out there. We've heard that some owners have had problems playing the Quantum of Solace Blu-ray disc, but it handles others well - and in any case, some might argue that not allowing you to watch the mess that was QoS could be counted as a plus point. In any case, we've found the BD01 for just £85 - click the jump to find out where.

Xbox 360 Premium console just £140
This one needs very little by the way of introduction: if you've been holding off from buying the latest generation of games consoles because of high prices, this is the perfect bargain. It's an Xbox 360 Premium console, brand new, for just £140, and being sold by one of the UK's largest retailers.
The cheapest version of the Xbox 360 - the Arcade model - normally costs around £120, but it's significantly limited: it has no hard disk, for example, so downloading high-def movies is out of the question. This premium model includes the hard disk, along with a wireless joypad and high-definition component video cable.
All in all, it's a lot of console for not very much money. Click the jump to find out where to buy.
This deal comes from Argos via its clearance service - click here for details.
Panasonic DMP-BD35 Blu-ray - Save £120
These days you can pop into a high-street store and pick up a Blu-ray video player for as little as £150, but if you do you might be disappointed. Many of the cheapest players might look new and high-tech, but in fact they only support Blu-ray Profile 1.1 - so some of the features on the latest Blu-ray movie discs just won't work.
Today, though, we've found a Blu-ray player that supports the latest Profile 2.0 features and at a bargain price of £179.99 - that's a saving of £120 on the RRP, and at least £50 less then the price you'd usually expect. It's a Panasonic DMP-BD35 - one of our favourite players, and What Hi-Fi Sound and Vision have rated it five stars out of five - you can see its review here.
So, where can you get this great HD player at a bargain price? Click the jump to find out.

Flip Mino HD Camcorder £145 - Save £25
In the 1980s camcorders were the size of a toaster and recorded crummy footage onto enormous, clunky tapes that were a pain in the neck to edit. Today even professional-quality HD cameras are tiny by comparison - and then there's the Flip Mino HD.
This tiny camera is - using the tradidional "measure a gadget by comparing it to a household object" scale - roughly as large as a mobile phone, so it slips easily into a pocket, but despite this tiny size it records high-definition video. It records onto built-in memory, so there's no need to muck about with tapes, and to edit or share videos you simply plug it into a PC or Mac via USB. Neat.
The best price you're likely to find for this impressive gadget is £169.99 - but we've found a deal where you can get it for £145 - that's a healthy £25 saving. Click the jump to find out more.
This is a great offer, so it's only available for a limited time. To get the Flip Mino HD at this low price you'll need to go to Expansys between 11am and 4pm tomorrow (Friday 29th May 2009) - use this link.
37" LCD TV - Save £250
A few days ago we found a 19" LCD television with built in Freeview and DVD player - great for a second TV, but what if you're looking for a big screen for the front room? Today we've found a slightly larger TV, at a far bigger discount: where most shops are selling it for at least £620, we've found it for just £350 including VAT.
The TV is a 37" HD Ready Sanyo CE37LD81-B, with built-in Freeview, 2 HDMI sockets, 2 SCART sockets and a component video input. Run a quick price comparison and you won't find it for less than £600 - but we've found a deal where you can pay just £350 - that's a saving of at least £250. Click the jump for details.
To buy this large TV at a huge discount, click here to visit the ASDA Direct website. Delivery costs around £5.
One Day Deal - Logitech Harmony One, Save £40
Remote controls - great when you have one, handy when you have two, and a complete nightmare when you end up with half a dozen, all running out of batteries and with at least one lost down the back of the sofa at any given point. There is, however, a solution: a universal control that replaces each and every one of them.
Universal remote controls can be programmed to control just about anything: your TV, DVD, hi-fi, Blu-ray player and Sky box, for example. Logitech's Harmony One replaces up to fifteen remotes, in fact, and, rather than dozens of buttons with nonsensical items, gives you access to them via a colour touchscreen display. It's normally rather expensive, but today only you can get it for £40 less than usual - click the jump to find out how.
The Harmony One remote normally costs around £120 to £130, but we've found a store selling them for just £84 including VAT. The promotion is today only and while stocks last. Click here to buy one.
19" LCD TV with Freeview and DVD just £130
The high street shops are full of huge LCD televisions at low prices, but most measure at least 26" across - great for a large living room, but less ideal in smaller homes or as a second screen for a bedroom. Never mind, though - if you're looking for a slightly smaller flatscreen TV we've found one at a brilliant price.
We've found a 19" widescreen TV with built in Freeview, a DVD player and an HDMI port. It also has a SCART socket for connecting most video devices and a VGA socket so you can use it as a computer display. Click the jump to find out where to buy one.
This TV is being sold by Dabs.com as part of its DabsValue range, but the part code listed is that of a Digimate LTV-1929WHTC - click here for a full specification for that product, or to buy one click here.
Blu-ray Bargains: Samsung BD-P1500 for £120
Fancy flatscreen HD televisions are all very well and good, but to get the best from them you'll need a proper high definition source. Many manufacturers will tell you that their player can magically "upscale" standard DVDs to high definitions, but at the end of the day you can't add quality that isn't there - for a full high-definition picture you need suitable source material, and that means Blu-ray.
The problem with Blu-ray has, traditionally, been price: discs cost around £30, and a suitable player could run to £250 or more. Prices are finally falling, though, and we've found a Samsung Blu-ray player for £120 including delivery. Click the jump to find out more and where to get it.
The BD-P1500 is a Blu-ray profile 1.1 player with HDMI and component video outputs, so it'll connect to almost any HDTV. It has both USB and network ports allowing you to upgrade its software, and Samsung claims that it is profile 2.0 ready. For a full specification, visit the Samsung site here.
The BD-P1500 has a retail price of £230, and we've seen it selling recently at around £150. Today, though, Play.com is listing it at £119.99 with delivery included, making it the cheapest standalone Blu-ray player we've seen. Click here to buy.
Fridges, TVs, Laptops £5 this Monday - if you're quick
We're used to seeing some pretty bold claims from retailers, but BuyItDirect might take the prize for the most ambitious promotion of the year: it claims to be giving away over £50,000 worth of products this Monday, with buyers paying just under a fiver for postage.
The list of products includes Smeg fridges worth over £1,000, Miele washing machines worth almost £500, Sony LCD TVs worth around £300 and Acer Aspire notebooks worth £518 each. The less ambitious might pick up a toaster (around £40), laptop bag (£22) or webcam (£20). Given that postage for each costs £4.95 we're not sure that the Belkin Keyboard extender (worth £4.97) is such a great buy, but there you go.
We checked how many of each item will be available to give away and the company told us it had 12 fridges, 7 washing machines and 23 Acer laptops, amongst others. Click the jump to find out how to get one of them for just under a fiver.
So how does the promotion work? First, you need to pre-register at the link below. BuyItDirect then says it will email you a promotional code before the giveaway starts.
Next, you'll have to get up at 1am on Bank Holiday Monday. Or, we suppose, just stay awake. Either way, the givaway starts at 1am and we don't imagine the goods will be around long.
Once the givaway starts, you can pick the item you want. Enter the promotional code and the price will drop to zero. You pay £4.95 for postage, and the item will be with you in a few days.
Of course, you're likely to face competition from a few other thousand bargain hunters vying for the same stock, but it might be worth a try nonetheless. Let us know how you get on in the comments.
The Great Giveaway registration page can be found here.
BARGAIN Digital TV PVR for £23
Still using a VHS video recorder to tape television shows? Now might be the perfect time to upgrade. Personal Video Recorders allow you to record shows with no tapes or discs to worry about, just like Sky+, but Freeview models are usually quite expensive. Today we've found one for les than £25.
The Digital Vision DVR180 stores programmes on its 80GB hard disk, and can record all Freeview channels: you simply select shows from its 8-day Electronic Programme Guide (EPG). It comes with an aerial lead and a SCART cable for connecting to your TV. Find out how to buy this bargain after the jump.
You'd normally expect to pay more than £23 for a Freeview set-top box, let alone a PVR, so you might be wondering where the catch is with this bargain. Truth be told, there isn't much of one.
Morgan Computers is selling factory reworked Digital Vision PVR180s for £23, here. The boxes are described as "tatty", which doesn't matter much, and there's no remote control supplied. If you find this a problem you can pick a suitable control up for £9 here, so you'll be paying the still ridiculous price of £32 for the kit. The boxes have a 30 day warranty.
