AVG Anti-Virus : Save £22, just £6
AVG is very well known for making its basic anti-virus program completely free to download. While AVG free gives excellent basic protection, however, it isn't exactly packed with features.
To get the full set of anti-virus tools the company asks you to pay £28 for its full anti-virus product. As well as the protection found in AVG Free, this includes a rootkit scanner, protection against phishing attacks, a special mode designed to work with video games, the company's web shield technology and technical support from the company.
At £28 the program isn't bad value, but we can do much better. Today we've found a store selling this full paid-for anti-virus suite for just under £6 - that's a £22 discount on the recommended price. Click the jump for details.
