The first remote control you get is brilliant - suddenly there's no need to wander across the room just to change the channel. The second remote control is also handy. But then there's the third, and fourth and the fifth, and the ten batteries required to keep them all running. And one of them is always lost somewhere under the sofa.

There are, of course, a few solutions. You could throw out all the remote controls and use a long stick to poke at the television controls, or perhaps stick three or four remote of them together with duct tape. Or you could stick them to the sofa. But, for a neater solution, why not replace all your remotes with just one that does the same job?
