We recently listed a Sony Alpha digital SLR camera being sold for the ludicrously low price of £250, but sadly the store in question has regained its senses and bumped the price back up to over £310. If you're still looking for a top quality camera to take creative photos, though, never fear: we've found another one for under £300.

Olympus is one of the best known names in photography, and its digital SLRs have been acclaimed for their tiny dimensions - a design that's made possible by the small four-thirds lens mount and sensor. The E-420 (E420) is amazingly small and light, but still takes 10-Megapixel images at up to 3.5 frames per second and has a live view display for shooting at difficult angles.
